MTK EPO GPS Fixer 1.4

This application is intended exclusively for Mediatek chipsets such as MT6589/MT6592. Mediatek has updated the EPO URL, rendering it non-functional on older ROMs. This application provides a new URL for downloading EPO files and the ability to set your custom URL in the future.

By downloading the latest EPO files from Mediatek servers and placing them in the system folder, this app aims to improve the GPS fix speed significantly.

• System Requirements:
  1. Busybox installed (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox)
  2. ROOT access
  3. Internet connection

HOW TO:

• Enable all GPS types in the Settings
• Disable Auto Download in Location-Based Service > EPO
• In Location-Based Service, enable A-GPS
• Update EPO within the app
• Check expiration date in Location-Based Service > EPO

If issues persist, try rebooting your phone. Additionally, for faster GPS Fix using a wifi or mobile data connection, consider using YGPS by following these steps: Go to Information and click on AGPS Restart.
